Hand-Painted Ketubah Art
Acrylic painting, ornamentation, and gold highlights that add depth and character to your ketubah.
Every ketubah design in our gallery can be printed on high-quality fine-art paper or on natural parchment of the type used for a Torah scroll. After the wording has been adapted and approved, we print the complete design and text and move the work to the hand-painting and finishing stage.
Our artists carefully work over the details of the composition, strengthen selected outlines, and add color, depth, and dimension to its central elements. Flowers, ornaments, and chosen details receive hand-painted accents and an artistic finish that brings out the beauty of the design and makes every ketubah personal and distinctive.
24-Karat Gold Ornamentation
When a design includes a border, heading, or special ornamentation, these elements can be highlighted with 24-karat gold. The gold gives the ketubah a rich glow, presence, and an elegant finish that cannot be fully conveyed in a photograph.
When you hold the finished ketubah, the difference is immediately visible: the colors gain depth, the details stand out, and the gold reflects the light with a subtle brilliance. The result is an impressive and dignified artwork with a vivid, luxurious appearance.
Names, verses, or a personal dedication can also be added and highlighted in 24-karat gold. Every element is integrated harmoniously into the design, adding beauty, character, and personal meaning.
Fine Materials and Meticulous Finishing
We use high-quality artists’ acrylic colors to add layers of color, depth, and durability. Genuine gold and silver leaf may also be incorporated according to the style of the design and the client’s request.
Every ketubah is painted individually and receives personal attention down to the smallest detail. Because the finishing is done by hand, each work has a character of its own, and no two ketubot are completely identical.
Our goal is for you to feel genuine excitement the first time you open and see your finished ketubah. We have accompanied families in choosing and creating ketubot for decades, and we are always delighted to meet our clients again at future family celebrations.
